Bel Aire Announced as a Playful City USA

KaBOOM!, a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing play, has announced that Bel Aire will receive the 2010 Playful City USA designation.  Bel Aire was awarded because of a commitment to increase the quantity, quality and access of play within the community in order to ensure the safety and adequacy of play spaces for current and future generations.

Tree City USA

The City of Bel Aire is proud to have been recognized  as a Tree City USA by the Arbor Day Foundation 14 years in a row.  The Tree City USA program provides direction, technical assistance, public attention, and national recognition for urban and community forestry programs in thousands of towns and cities across the United States.
