Council Member Martine served as the City of Bel Aire Planning Commission Secretary for 28 years. She also served as Bel Aire Day Chairman for 20 years.
Several classes at Wichita State University, and current certification as a Certified Municipal Clerk through the International Institute of Municipal Clerks.
Retired in 2011 from the City of Bel Aire after 28 years of service.
One son and one daughter raised in Bel Aire.
About the Council Member
Council Member Martine has lived in Bel Aire for over 40 years. She retired from the City of Bel Aire after 28 years, having served as Deputy City Clerk and Planning Commission Secretary. Martine has volunteered on various City Committees, acting as Chairman of Bel Aire Days for 20 years and participating on the History Committee.
Martine is committed to working with the Mayor and Council in order to maintain a solid future for Bel Aire and to keep the City headed in the right direction. She advocates for selling land, addressing water and sewer issues, maintaining city services without further cuts, and having an open and transparent government that will listen to citizen input.
