Parks Department
The Parks Department has developed a beautiful and functional system of park facilities ranging from small neighborhood parks to a 4-acre Public park facility at Eagle Lake. The mission of the Parks Department is to provide a cost-effective system of safe and attractive parks that enhance the beautification of the land for the citizens and visitors of Bel Aire. The Parks Department maintains landscaping at City parks, public facilities, and roadside ditches.

Bel Aire Park is the most visible centrally located park in the city. This 1.5 acre park is located just south of the fire station on Woodlawn between 45th St. N. and 37th St. N. Bel Aire Park has a sand playground area that includes a dolphin sculpture, a spring rider toy, and a swing set for ages 2-5. A play system with rubber safety surfacing, multiple slides and equipment is geared for children ages 5-12. Bel Aire Park also features a tennis court and basketball court. The addition of a new shelter and irrigation system make Bel Aire Park the most frequently used park in Bel Aire.
Eagle Lake Park is located in the heart of the Eagle Lake Subdivision. One of Bel Aire's largest parks, Eagle Lake sets on 7 acres and offers many amenities. The south end of the lake contains a sand volleyball court, composite play structure as well as a swing set. Eagle Lake also features a 2/3 mile walking trail and benches that surround the lake. A new covered shelter is planned for 2009 and will feature two large picnic tables and BBQ grills.
Denise Park
Denise Park is a neighborhood park located in the Bel Aire Village Subdivision. While Denise Park is one of Bel Aire's smallest parks, it features a beautiful large wooden gazebo. Denise Park also offers visitors a composite play structure and swing set.
Brookhouser Park
Brookhouser Park is a neighborhood park located in the Willow Creek subdivision. Located on the corner of N Rushwood St. and E 44th St., Brookhouser Park offers a lot of amenities in it .75 acre site. Along with a covered shelter area and park benches, the park features a composite play structure, two swing sets, a spring whale toy and a merry go-round.
Alley Park
Alley Park is located near the Park Vista subdivision, north of 48th St. and east of Oliver St. Tucked away from major traffic, Alley Park is a natural park featuring a large pond. Residents can enjoy fishing in a natural surrounding. While the park offers few amenities, nature lovers can enjoy this park in its native splendor.
