Youth Sports
Our youth sport programs are designed to teach basic fundamentals in a fun & safe environment. The rules are designed to reflect the average development and ability of each age group. Age divisions will vary to accommodate the registrations received. Volunteers provide the coaching and everyone is encouraged to participate. All programs are recreational, everyone plays equal time, and standings are not kept with the exception of Heights BB/SB. Participants will receive a shirt & award.

MAXIMIZE BASKETBALL INSTRUCTION
Bel Aire Recreation has partnered with Brent Atwater, a former collegiate player and coach for year-round basketball instruction, summer camps, and fall clinics. Atwater's programs stress the fundamentals of basketball which make them perfect for kids of all ages and skill levels. The registration deadline is February 4.
Ages: 4-11
Games: Saturdays March 3 - April 14, 2012
Practices: Set up by coaches on weeknights beginning February 27
Fees: Residents - $33
Non-residents - $50
A $5 late fee will be charged to all sign-ups after the deadline.
SPRING BREAK SPORTS WEEKThe registration deadline is March 12.
Each day will feature a new sport to play such as baseball, flag football, soccer, basketball, or volleyball. We will meet March 19-22, times TBA.
Fees: Residents - $15
Non-residents - $22
A $5 late fee will be charged to all sign-ups after the deadline.

BLASTBALL
The registration deadline is March 12.
Blastball is an introductory Coed T-Ball program for 4 year olds.Games: Tuesday and Thursday evenings April 17 – May 10
Practice: One practice on the first night of the season.
Fees: Residents - $21
Non-Residents - $32
A $5 late fee will be charged to all sign-ups after the deadline.
SHORT SPORTS
Pre-registration is required.
This instructional program for 3 year olds will teach basic sports skills including throwing, catching, kicking, and batting. Age appropriate sports equipment will be utilized. Each child must have an adult partner (Parent, Grandparent, Aunt, etc).
Dates & Times: Tuesdays & Thursdays, April 24 - May 10, 6:30 - 7:00 p.m.
Fees: Residents - $15
Non-Residents - $22
A $5 late fee will be charged to all sign-ups after the deadline.

BALLS 'N STRIKES
Bel Aire Recreation has teamed up with Balls 'N Strikes in offering local sports training programs for coaches and youth. Classes offered include baseball/softball pitching, hitting, throwing, & catching, and speed & agility training. Stop by 3919 N. WICHITA HEIGHTS JUNIOR BASEBALL/SOFTBALL LEAGUE
For boys ages 11-14 and girls ages 13-15. The deadline to sign up is Saturday, March 3rd.
